Do you have a Genealogical Researcher who I can communicate with in English. Unfortunately I do not read or write French. I am researching the family name IMOBERDORF. I believe the family originated in Canton Valais.

Hello, In "Armorial du Valais", families IMODERDORF are mentionned in 3 villages of Goms Valley : Münster, Reckingen and Ulrichen. This one who was accepted in Brig in 1902 came from Ulrichen. In an other document the origin is different: Reckingen. Please give more information from your "Certificat d’origine" : date and place. Bye bye Colette
